In March 2006, the first high-quality float glass production line of Xinyi Glass was put into operation.
In April 2006, Xinyi Glass (Japan) Co., Ltd. was established in Tokyo, Japan to develop automobile glass and architectural glass markets in Japan.
In February 2007, Xinyi Glass Jiangmen Industrial Park was established.
In August 2007, Xinyi Glass further expanded its industrial layout based on the major industries of automobile glass, architectural glass and float glass. The first ultra-clear photovoltaic glass production line was put into operation, and Xinyi Glass officially entered the photovoltaic glass industry.
In September 2009, the first 500T/D ultra-clear photovoltaic glass production line in Xinyi Glass Wuhu Photovoltaic Industrial Park was put into operation. The "One Kiln, Four Lines" production line technology by Xinyi Glass is the first of its kind in the world.
In April 2011, Xinyi Glass Yingkou Industrial Park was established.
In March 2012, Xinyi Glass invested in the construction of photovoltaic power station projects, and the 10MWp centralized contiguous photovoltaic power generation demonstration project of Xinyi Glass Wuhu Photovoltaic Industrial Park was started.
In September 2012, Xinyi Glass Deyang Industrial Park was established.
In July 2016, Xinyi Automobile Glass Hong Kong Enterprises Limited was listed on the GEM board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, stock code: 08328.HK.
In December 2016, the first high-quality float glass production line of Xinyi Glass Malaysia Industrial Park was put into operation. This industrial park is the first overseas industrial park of Xinyi Group.
In December 2016, the registered trademark of Xinyi Glass "XYG" was awarded "China Famous Trademark" by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.
